Hi, I'm Brenda Sanchez, a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Nevada. I provide integrative, whole-person mental health care for adults across the entire state — entirely via telehealth, so geography is never a barrier to getting the support you deserve.
Whether you're in Reno, Las Vegas, Carson City, or anywhere in between, you can access personalized psychiatric care from the comfort of your own home. Limited in-person visits are available in Reno for those who prefer it.

ADHD can look different at different stages of life. For children and students, it may show up as trouble focusing in class, staying organized, completing homework, or managing time. Many kids are described as “daydreamers,” forgetful, or easily distracted, even when they’re trying their best.
For college students, professionals, and parents, ADHD often affects productivity, focus, and follow-through. You may struggle to start or finish tasks, lose track of deadlines, feel overwhelmed by multitasking, or zone out during lectures, meetings, conversations, or daily responsibilities at home. These challenges are often misunderstood as laziness, anxiety, or lack of effort.

Life-changing events can be challenging, whether they’re expected or unexpected. A new promotion, divorce, loss of a loved one, or major transition can bring fear, self-doubt, grief, or emotional overwhelm—even when the change is positive or mutual.
These experiences may affect sleep, mood, focus, and energy. You might feel numb, anxious, irritable, or caught in racing or intrusive thoughts. Concentration at work can suffer, and connecting with loved ones may feel harder than usual. With the right support, these responses can be understood and gently worked through.

Becoming a new mother can be far more challenging than anyone prepares you for. Along with the joy of motherhood, there are major physical, emotional, and relational changes. Pregnancy or birth complications, recovery after childbirth, and ongoing fatigue can make it hard to feel like yourself, connect with your baby, or maintain closeness with your partner.
Postpartum mood changes, including the baby blues, postpartum depression, or anxiety, may show up as sadness, irritability, exhaustion, intrusive thoughts, emotional overwhelm, or grief for your former self. These symptoms are often minimized or dismissed—by others or by yourself—as “normal” or something that will pass. When left unaddressed, they can deepen and affect your well-being. Support and early care matter, and you don’t have to navigate this season alone.

Symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder can overlap, which is why careful assessment is essential. Racing thoughts, difficulty focusing, emotional numbness, or feeling disconnected from joy may be rooted in trauma, mood disorders, or attention challenges. Identifying the underlying patterns allows treatment to address the root—not just the symptoms.
Many of us move through life on autopilot, shaped by past experiences we may not fully recognize. With support, these patterns can be brought into awareness and gently changed, creating space for healing, clarity, and meaningful connection.
